A Word of Caution
I’ve noticed that the supporters of independence are up to their old tricks. This is very concerning.
The last time the independence banner was raised, after the 2015 election, it started off well enough but after a noticeable period, degraded. This was due to a variety of reasons: different viewpoints, distance, and, although unproven, both external and internal interference.
We heard every opinion as if they had the ultimate power over the movement. This led to infighting and an unnecessary sense of competition.
Make no mistake, our nemeses in Ottawa and other parts of Canada are watching intently, and although they appear to be unconcerned, those with a modicum of interest beyond the front door know what is at stake here.
Comments such as “Kick the Libtards out!”, “No Gays!”, and so on; you know what I mean. Not only is it not helpful, it drives a significant portion of the West away! We want them to vote FOR independence, not against!
Ill-advised comments like those (and more) will be used against us; count on it!
The time is right for a robust, united independence movement based on freedom, rule of law, and a home for all our people.
Let’s not blow it.
